Shops and Service There are relatively few shops in Woodmancote however Bishop's Cleeve, the adjoining village, caters for a much larger array of shops and supermarkets. The shops and services within Woodmancote are shown on the Shops and Services page.
Places to eat and drink There are several places to eat and drink in Woodmancote.
Village Hall and Sports facilities The Village Hall in Bushcombe Close caters for a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, the latter on the integral playing field where there is also a children's play area and a Boules piste. See the Village Hall detail page.
Schools Woodmancote has its own infant/junior school in Station road, see Woodmancote School. The nearest senior school is just over the boundary in Two Hedges Road, Bishop's Cleeve, see Cleeve School.
The Woodmancote News The Woodmancote News is the village's own magazine which is issued once a quarter and is full of useful information and articles about Woodmancote.
Footpaths Woodmancote has many public foot paths leading between the surrounding villages and up on to the surrounding hills and Cleeve Common. A "Woodmancote Walks" map of these paths can be purchased from the local newsagents in Station Road.
Listed Buildings Woodmancote has in the order of 18 listed buildings, most are grade II.
Bus routes There are two bus services through Woodmancote which are run by Marchants (W1 & W2) and Stagecoach (D & E). Time tables for both can be found at Marchants and Stagecoach D, Stagecoach E.
Pulhams Coaches also run a hospitals bus service between Clarance Parade, Cheltenham Hospital and Gloucester Hospital.
